If any of your readers are going to do this upgrade on their own, make sure they order the correct kit for their netbook. There are 8 kits (if I remember correctly) on the fidohub web site, but the Lenovo S10 kit isn’t listed. In order to find the S10 kit, I had to go to fidohub’s ebay store (seller name is fidohub). The reason you need the specific kit for your netbook is that each kit comes with pre-made cables designed for whatever propietary USB headers you have on your system board. For instance, I originally ordered the NC10 kit thinking I could cram it in my S10, but the cables weren’t the right kind and I didn’t feel like doing complicated pin-out mapping and soldering to get it to work.

I may post a video of the touch screen in action later. Right now, I’m removing OS X from my netbook and putting XP back on it to test the touchscreen under Windows.
