regardless of how nice it might be in other ways i could never use a notebook without a trackpoint..
For those who are interested in this model I might suggest they wait just a month or so, as the new 12″ IdeaPad S12 is due be released then. I would expect the prices to drop on the 10″ IdeaPad S10 series at that point. Especially if the S12 is priced at just $449.00 which is what the current buzz is.
That said, a testimony to how good the S10 series is, has been revealed as the base price of $349 has rarely been discounted in the last seven months. One of the only Lenovo models that we have not seen deep discounts on. I know that I truly enjoy my S10, and find it far exceeds my expectations for a Netbook. Build quality is fantastic, every bit as good as my X60s. The keyboard is quite nice as is the 10.2″ display. I highly endorse the S10 series.
