We recently had a Lenovo IdeaPad Y450 arrive here at LogicThinkPads headquarters and I shot some pics of its eventful unboxing. There is also a very sexy IdeaPad Y650 present, so you’ll see a couple shots where we compare the thickness. If you don’t count the hefty feet on the bottom of the Y650, the chassis itself is actually thinner than the Y450.
Anywho – check out the pics below and look for our impressions of both systems soon! Do our faithful readers have any particular points of interest around these machines that we should mention? Thanks! I’ve been waiting for reviews of this laptop since I’m want to buy it.
How about getting a Y550 too? I think the main difference will be battery life and perhaps graphics performance. I’m a college student so battery life is important, and I’d prefer 15″ screens, but not at the expense of battery.
