Hello Dear Readers,
The astute observers may have noticed a few changes around the site this week. Just a few layout, formatting, and style changes that have been bugging my overly-analytical eye for a while.
The biggest thing you’ll notice is the larger font size in the posts. It just seemed a bit small for easy reading, but of course the tradeoff is there is more scrolling. I try to be very careful about how the text and images in all my posts are laid out and I think this is an overall improvement.
The other changes are so minute I won’t bother mentioning them, but if someone can name them I’ll drop a Lenovo 2GB USB flash drive in the mail to them. Just something fun for a Friday ![]()
Back on topic, I also wanted to get everyone’s input on the site’s layout and features. Anything you like, dislike, or want to see? Let me know in the comments ![]()

Whatever it is, the site is looking great! I check back every day!
Glad to hear it Oliver! Thanks for the patronage
1. The site was renamed LogicThinkPad and merged with LogicHP.
2. The buttons at the top were redone.
3. I think the ads on the side have changed, but I’m not sure.
1. reader can choose HP or LENOVO button on top of the page
2. you used to only intert picture in the centre of your article ie. you change the format
3. the site i think has change to Logic Thinkpad for a while (this is for Hauskaz )
4. you add POLLS and maybe categories?
5. I personally have the feeling that there’s more picture on the right-hand-side column. not sure. : )
hi John Hobbes ,
how many of them do you have in total? Here’s what i have:
1 you add “ShareThis”
2 the fonts of “Popular Tags” & other links seem to be bigger in the past
3 you also add “CISCO Ad” on top & “Ads by Google”
4 you move “ThinkPad and IdeaPad News Blog, Reviews, Deals & Coupons” to the right, & reduce the size
5 you add Lenovo ad below Polls
have a nice weekend.
You guys absolutely picked up on the big changes. Those happened a week or two ago, so I actually forgot about them
I’ll still absolutely count them.
Keep ‘em coming, I’ll run this through the weekend and maybe until Monday night to give some more people a chance to respond. Either way this is just for fun, keep up the good spirits and have a great weekend!
At least with my current browser settings, the site now needs a lot of horizontal scrolling to fit in a 1024×768 window. I think it’s better to stay with default sizes and let users choose their own settings.
On individual posting pages like this one, that is the case for me as well with Google Chrome on my ThinkPad T42. The main page fits perfectly, however.
John,
The changes look great! I really like the large font, use of white space and placement of your pics.
