What do ThinkPads have to do with turbochargers?

Nothing, unless your name is Jim and you use a ThinkPad to tune your turbocharged Mitsubishi Evolution.

Recently Lenovo blogger & fix-it-man extraordinare Mark Hopkins put out the call for interesting uses of any Lenovo PC. From in-car entertainment & GPS to a remote backup device, there have been some interesting feedback from the blog’s readers.

Today Mark features a video with Jim of Jim’s Garage, where they showcase how Jim uses his ThinkPad X60 to log data and tune the computer of his 2006 Mitsubishi Evolution 9 [disclaimer: I'm a gear-head too]. Click through to check out the clip and leave some words on your interesting use of Lenovo PC’s. Or better yet, make a video of it!

I mostly have “regular” uses of Lenovo PC’s, like writing this blog post, but there is one use that is maybe a little “interesting.” Look for my response to Mark’s call soon.
