UPDATE #2: Somebody at Lenovo woke up, wiped the slobber off the keyboard and fixed the T400 coupon. It is now working, at least for now! RUN, do not walk, and get this deal! Coupon code updated below
UPDATE: These coupons were limited to 500 uses and those must have been used up quick. Lenovo’s website is showing the G550 deal as gone and although they are still running the T400 deal, the coupon code doesn’t work. We’ll try to get more details, but it looks like this deal is dead.
The final daily deal from Lenovo brings us the hottest price ever on a ThinkPad T400, and a Value Line notebook deal that is hotter than the G450 deal a few days ago. There is nothing special to discuss about the T400: it is the defacto workhorse that isn’t the thinner, or the lightest, but will take a lickin’ and keep on tickin’. What is exceptional here is the price, as this is the first time I have ever seen a T400 priced under $600.
The G550 is the larger cousin to the G450 featured a couple days ago, with similar specs but a significantly lower price. The cost savings comes in the Pentium T4300 2.1GHz dual core processor. While this chip won’t do as well in the benchmarks against a Core 2 Duo, it is plenty fast for most uses and this model has everything else where it counts.

Hey folks – well, it looks like the coupons are already used up. They expire after 500 uses and must have reached that limit. Even on Lenovo’s site they advertise the T400 deal and the coupon they provide (USPSAVE20T4) doesn’t work. The G550 deal is shown as expired (see updated post above).
I wasn’t quick enough, sorry folks!
There is still the coupon code USPCBRMONDAY that works (for today only).
Now here’s something that sucks, I pulled the trigger yesterday on a custom T400 discrete using the Black Friday coupon code. Today I saw this coupon, and thought let’s try it? Yep, didn’t work. Tried the USPCBRMONDAY coupon, that worked. BUT…
When I re-did my customization, the base price was $30 LOWER than yesterday.
So today is a better than yesterday to get the lowest price
