Well that didn’t take long. Lenovo’s ThinkPad X201 Tablet reappeared for sale on their website just this past Monday and they put a really sweet, but really limited stackable coupon on it. Through the end of today you can get 20% off the X201 Tablet, bringing the entry price to $1691.
This is the first time Lenovo has discounted the X201 Tablet and a hefty discount it is. You can see the base configuration below, but the biggest thing you will want to upgrade is the 4-cell battery to an 8-cell.
And unless you have the patience of a saint, you will probably want to spend the $275 upgrading to the multitouch display. Not only is it the ONLY way to experience a convertible tablet, but the base screen is delayed 4+ weeks. You can also opt for the SuperBright Outdoor panel, which we reviewed here, but I think the multitouch would be more usable.
