Hard Drive Installation Instructions

You must reuse the silver tray from the old hard drive!
1) Lift up keyboard.
2) Remove the RAM daughter board (located to the left of the battery pack).
3) Remove the battery pack.
4) Remove the small Phillips screw from the hard drive hold-down bracket (located to the left of the battery pack).
5) Pull hard drive back towards you, then gently lift it up out of its compartment.
6) Remove the tray from the old hard drive and install it onto the new hard drive.
7) Install new drive by gently sliding it towards the rear to install in its mating connector.
8) Replace the small Phillips screw to the hard drive hold-down bracket.
9) Replace the battery pack.
10) Replace the RAM daughter board.
11) Lower the keyboard and snap it into place.
