This drive is NOT compatible with the
Thinkpad 600/E/X standby/hot-swap modes. Will NOT be recognized by the
ThinkPad ROM BIOS when switching drives (Probably one of the reasons IBM doesn't have an Ultrabay CDRW.) This drive works perfectly if the machine is powered-up with the drive in the Ultrabay.
