OS/2 1.1 and 1.3

#1 Post by AlphaKilo470 » Mon Apr 18, 2005 11:51 pm

A couple weeks back, I got my hands on an old 486 box and the MS version of OS/2 1.1 and 1.3. With 1.1 especially, I am shocked to thing that Windows XP has it's origins in that OS. The whole thing, despite how advanced it was in 1989, seems like such a childs toy today.

Well, with that aside, I wonder if anyone here would happen to have any useful software for that old OS.

I've actually seen those articles in the past. Very good reading for anyone who wants to know about the old versions of OS/2, before presentation and manager were even ued in the same pharase or sentence.

I can understand if you dislike that OS, I mysef have had my share of stubburn OS's as well, but what's that have to do with my last comment?
