OS/2 Warp 4 Diskettes. Anyone got 'em?

#1 Post by sqmaster1234 » Sat Jul 25, 2009 1:39 pm

Does anyone have a set of OS/2 Warp 4 diskettes they wouldn't mind parting with?
Mine are all written over, and all I have now are the 2.0 upgrade disks. If this should be in the buying area I'm sorry, i thought the OS/2 board seemed fitting.
Gimme an offer.:)

Thanks!

Warp 4 was a CDROM plus 3 boot floppies. Are you looking for just the boot floppies?

They are on ebay every day if you want to buy a new set. If you dont then you should be able to find them on any p2p network.

Yeah, I know, eBay was the first place I looked, but I was hoping someone on this forum had a set they wouldn't min parting with for less than the 45-200$ Warp 4 is going for online.

Sorry for the slow response. I only check this forum once or twice a month. Have you found the diskettes yet? There is an option (a batch file called MAKEDSKS.BAT) on the CD that allows you to make a set of diskettes (forty I think). Are you really sure you want to go this route? The CD is much faster, and easier.

I did send you a PM, but if you are like me and forget to check your messages, you may not have seen it yet. (You can also send me an email.)

Try vetusware.com . I'm not sure if we're allowed to post links to abandonware sites, but considering the advertising on the site, I think it's more or less legal, and they have the complete set of Warp 4 floppies.
