Did anyone get the Toshiba 5GB PCMCIA drive to run under Warp?
Specially with Daniela's drivers and the fact that those don't seem to like PCM2ATA.
Well not a Toshiba, butI did have an IBM Travelstar PCMCIA 8GB drive working with eCS a couple years ago. I wrote an article on it in VOICE - http://www.os2voice.org/VNL/past_issues ... newsf2.htm

Maybe that will help.

You do not have to use IBM2ATA driver. With latest Dani driver you jus add the switch and everithing is handled by the dani driver

Which thinkpad model you have. Which PCMCIA controller is in. If it is TI controller then try to use dani's TI patched driver instead of original IBM. That my help. In my R51 is TI controller which doesn't work with original IBM but work perfectly with Dani's driver

On my box Daniela's drivers hang my system the moment I try to use the PCM2ATA driver.
How the heck did you get those two to co-operate?
You don't. You REM out PCM2ATA and add the /PCS switch to DANS506.ADD See the DANIS506.DOC about this.

In my case I had to use LVM /NEWMBR: 1 to get the existing partition to showup in LVM.

<Snip stuff>

Controller:2 Port:0340 IRQ:0A Status:Adapter not detected
Controller:3 Port:0000 IRQ:00 Status:PCCard not inserted
Controller:4 Port:0000 IRQ:00 Status:PCCard not inserted

Look at the last 2 lines.
It doesn't even see the card and I veryfied that it works just fine under Windoze.
Does PCCard director show the card as ready and with resources?

What version of PCMCIA Card Services (CardBus, PCCard Director or Play-At-Will)? Does anything work under PCMCIA (like a modem)?

Also did you try switching PCMCIA slots? For me the drive would only work in the first slot.
