I got another one, (just like the other one...)
For sale: The T61 you have all been waiting for!
ThinkPad T61 (6460-07U)
Based on 6460-DWU:
T8100(2.1GHz) ........................ Penryn CPU
2GB RAM ............................... 1 x 2GB, 1 slot free
160GB 5400rpm HD ................... No Hard Disk, but caddy/cover/screws are included. Talk to me about HD options.
15.4in 1680x1050 LCD .............. WSXGA+ widescreen
128MB nVIDIA Quadro NVS 140M .... Powerful and SAFE! Production Date: 08/09 !!!
CDRW/DVDRW ......................... DVD Multi III

The good stuff:
This machine has tight hinges and is in excellent condition.
There is no shine on keyboard or touchpad. On the palmrest there is only some shine around the Fingerprint Reader.
There are only minor signs of wear on the outside, commensurate with its age.
The LCD has no scratches, pressure marks or dead pixels and is clear and bright!
But more important: it has Production Date 08/09 (2008/September)!
The GPU has been verified as being from the new generation.
The CPU/fan has a fresh application of Arctic Silver 5.
This machine has been flashed with Middleton's BIOS 2.29/1.08, which:
- allows for SATA II speed of the hard drive/SSD
- removes the wifi whitelists
- has other good stuff!
Now for the bad stuff:
I'm happy to say there is none!
ONLY for buyers from abroad: this machine will have to be shipped abroad without a battery (new USPS regulations).
