Apart from the missing hard drive, this *very* rare bird is dead stock. I purposely resisted the urge to max it out, leaving that option to the future owner...
The machine is in very good physical condition and has survived hundreds of hours of both Freestone and Furmark without breaking a sweat or throwing a single BSOD. If you're interested in one of the final examples of 14" SXGA+ ThinkPads with discrete graphics, you should really look no further. I can count on one hand the 4:3 T61/p units that I've seen which left the factory with T9300, and this is one of them, according to the build sheet.
Of course, this being a 4:3 unit one should bear in mind that none of them were produced during the "safe" era. This particular one rolled off the assembly line in March of 2008, which is pretty much as good as it gets in a non-widescreen/non-Intel X3100 world...however, I have no reason to believe that there's anything preventing this fine classic from providing excellent service to its next owner for years to come. It's fast, clean and properly tested. They do not come much prettier - let alone healthier - than this one.
Someone save this beauty from the scary fate of becoming a FrankenPad, I beg of you...

Nice find, you don't see the T9300 very often in one of these.
