Re: FS/FT Dell Inspiron 700m Ultraportable
These are nice little units. Great for travel. I saw one at the mall kiosk last week and I liked it, though as a Thinkpad user I'd have a hard time adjusting to the pretty, shiney screen. Your price is WAY nicer than the one I played with and it's better equiped too. Now what do I have to trade that I could afforf to ship to Reno?AssPenny wrote: Say $900 / obo?

- Yak
Still just a guy with a room full of stuff I can't use
Name it Yak, you know i trust you. They are fun little units, surpisingly good for a Dell. They are a tad "prettier" than the X series, not as well suited for a boardroom in a business environment. They have the glossy screen, white and silver accents, etc...
But it feels very solid and its performance is stelar.

Isn't the 710m (latest version of the 700m series) often on sale for around $900 on dell.com?
Anyway, I own a 700m and agree that it's robust and performs fairly well. The keys are a little too small though. I bought it one and a half years ago using a $750 off coupon!
