Well now I've done it. Went and ordered a T42p from Bill. Gotta sell my T30 now to help defray the cost.

Specs are in the sig. System is in great shape, 9.5/10. There is one stuck pixel, white/yellow, only visible when the screen is black (bootup). Otherwise it's flawless. Warranty valid through 2006-05-18, including ON-SITE service.

I have: two AC adapters, a brand-new (0 cycles) Ultrabay battery, and may also be interested in selling a DLink PCMCIA DWL-G650 wifi "g" card. System has the Intel "b" card (which has never given me problems, it's happily disabled).

This T30 had a new system board installed two months ago, for nothing apparently, in response to the battery power loss problem I posted about.

Re: the freezing problem I reported a while ago ... I have just restored an older Ghost image and am waiting to see if it recurs. So far, so good.

System will ship with a clean install of XP, with SP2 if desired, and a full legal copy of Office 2003 Professional.

It's a great system, I knew I wouldn't be able to resist once I saw a T42p in real life, which I did the other day.
