USB 3.0 dock

I've just bought a t440s and am looking for a docking station for it. For previous thinkpads I've always had proper docking stations but as my girlfriend will be sharing my desk at times I thought it would be useful to have a USB 3.0 one where her Dell could also connect.

Looking on eBay I can either get the standard USB 3.0 dock released in 2012 (du9019d1) or for pretty much the same price, the current thinkpad USB 3.0 basic dock.

The only real difference I can see between the two is the lack of USB 3.0 on the rear of the basic dock, and it also only having one DVI connection. As There will only be max. one monitor and a keyboard/mouse connected i/o wise it doesn't matter which one I buy.

I just wondered if there were any other differences that would make the newer 'basic' dock work better? i.e. better drivers?
