Disclaimer: I did have to find their website, search to find the name of the show and look up the girl's name. I am not that much of a tool.

Hey it's that guy from a bunch of movies...name unknown!pvna wrote: Someone knows, which ThinkPad / IBM Laptop it is?
And Also because many consider Apple's Final Cut to be the best video editing suite (Most film studios don't rely on cutting and sticking together strips of film anymore).JHEM wrote:It comes down to dollars and cents.christopher_wolf wrote:IRT Mac's in popular television; more of a design choice than anything else given that the major decision people go by is that they look nice (The iCandy Effect) and are, hence, asethetically appealing in most well lit studios and sets for upbeat sitcoms.
Jobs has always been more generous with "donating" computers to Hollywood than any of the other manufacturers, particularly IBM.

Well it must have been blue then but the way it's captured it looks white.AlphaKilo470 wrote:The logo was never all white on the surface. Even the original ThinkPads from 1992 had either an RGB or blue logo.

You're right, IBM really had some marketing in that movie. Wasn't there an OS/2 logo on Boris' computer screen at the end when he got covered in freon (or whatever chemical he was frozen by) right after yelling about how invincible he was?gearguy wrote:If you know what I mean (You know how TVs don't give 100% colour accuracy) but it was a black rubberized laptop with an IBM logo in the corner You also happen to know it is an IBM as IBM has several plugs throughout goldeneye.
Speaking of which...I had the pleasure of watching "A Lot Like Love" with Ashton Kutcher tonight. My girlfriend didn't seem interested when I randomly blurted out "That's a ThinkPad!!!" but I surely was. At first it was only the mouse buttons, but in a later scene, the extended edge on the top of the lcd looked like a T4X. That would make sense considering the movie came out in 2005.draco2527 wrote:Also, I have been forced to watch "Legally Blonde"...
Yeah, I too have noticed that unfortunately, not everyone shares my devotion.dsigma6 wrote:My girlfriend didn't seem interested when I randomly blurted out "That's a ThinkPad!!!"
It makes sense because the Harvard computer store sells mainly Thinkpads, with great discounts. The best thing is, as an alum, I can still get Thinkpads and many other items available on Lenovo.com at very good prices.draco2527 wrote:Also, I have been forced to watch "Legally Blonde" and the law students all have TP's...except for an orange i-book
