ThinkPad X100e with intel processor in near future?

#1 Post by andertrack » Mon Nov 08, 2010 6:03 pm

I love ThinkPad X100e, except for the AMD processor. Is there any chance that we will get the x100e with an intel i series processor, or in 2011 a Sandy Bridge proc?

Yes, it is called ThinkPad Edge 11.
It is virtually identical to the X100e, but with an Intel i3 CPU (and glossy LCD). You can swap the LCD, if you prefer matte.

But apparently, the Edge 11 is not coming to US. Also, the glossy screen is a deal breaker, and the expense of swapping out a screen is not worth it:
