Fan Diagnostic & Port Effects on Fan

#1 Post by Bobroberto » Wed Jan 18, 2012 2:22 pm

How can I measure CPU temp on a T60?

Does the use of port replicator really cause the fan to run continuously?

check out a program called tpfancontrol. It will allow you to monitor cpu temp and fan speed. It will also allow you to manually control the fan speed, in addition to a couple of other things. Definitely worth it to check it out!
