Welcome to the forum!

The answer to your question is "no", since the R60e doesn't have an opening for the docking port that is present on T60 boards. And there's more to the issue at hand.

Is your machine still working or has the board failed?

Thanks for reply "ajkula66" :) My machine working well, no isues. I am not satisfied with the GPU. GMA 950 great working on 720p from Youtube videos, but 720p videos on other websites not played well. Something can be done about it? For example, to upgrade the CPU?

My system: Intel T5500 1.6
2GB RAM
64 GB Sandisk SSD
Linux Mate XFCE(last stable version)

You could upgrade the CPU to T7200/7400/7600, but I doubt that you'd notice much of an improvement. Still, at today's prices - $10 or less for T7200 - I'd go for it. My take would be to increase the RAM to 3GB as well. I can't see any of that making much of a difference in machine's daily performance, though.

Good luck.

IMO even the fastest Merom cpus are starting to show their age. You may want to consider getting a 4:3 T61 and upgrading to a T9300 cpu all for about $75. It should last you comfortably for another few years.
