Hi,

I have a W500 4063-A46 with a 1680x1050 screen. I'd like to update it to a 1920x1200 screen (or a 2560x1600 screen). I've read various people doing this on the T6x series, but never on the W500. Does anyone have any hints or compatibility guides?

Thanks.

Andrew

the T6x and W500/T500 should all use the same screen. my W500 has a LTN154U2-L05, which (on thinkwiki) is the same one the T61p uses. it is 1920x1200. I'm not sure if the connectors are different though.

as a start for compatibility, you can go here: http://www.thinkwiki.org/wiki/TFT_display
and scroll down to 15.4" 1920x1200. I've heard the LG panel is better than the samsung.
