t43 wifi doesnt work at all

when i press fn and f5 nothing happens, the computer doesnt respond to it and win vista doesnt either. i tried installing a bunch of drivers but none fixed the issue

Does the Card appear in Hardware Manager? Did You Open the laptop to see if everything is properly connected?

no card appears in the manager, ill open it up to look

I would take out the Card, clean the contacts and try again. If that doesn't work, the Card is probably damaged.
