This screw turns but won't come out. I can see on the inside that what it is screwed into (a little piece on the screen hinge) is turning with the screw so it can't loosen. It's tiny and too close to other things to get a grip on it. Does anyone have a solution for this problem? I'm trying to replace my power jack and can't get to it until this screw comes out.

You could use a tiny flathead screwdriver to try to get underneath and pull out the screw. I think you could also attach some duck tape to the screw and try to pull it out.

The screw that you've circled in the picture does NOT end up in the hinge, but in the upper portion of the keyboard bezel. Once you have the keyboard removed, you should be able to push it down to the back side.

The inside 'piece' is the stud that has broken off at the right top-end of the keyboard bezel (seen from above).
Remove the other screws for that bezel and then remove the bezel.
You'll also need to remove the LCD and the rest of the bottom screws to take the chassis + mobo out from the base.
You should now be able to grab that stud with some small pliers and unscrew it from the bottom.
And after all that you'll be able to access your DC-connector. Have fun.
Oh yeah, and you'll also need to buy a new KB bezel...
