I have been thinking of getting one of these for my desktop.

Does it feel as good as a T60? Any opinions would be great.

I've never used one myself, but the police in this area bought some about 2 years ago to use on the move in their vans, up to now - no complaints. ergo "no news is good news"

I have one as my keyboard at the office and I love it -- who needs a mouse?
I have also seen it in use at numerous airline check-in counters ...

I often find myself wishing my MSFT Natural keyboard had a trackpoint, and I love my ThinkPad keyboard so much that I am thinking of dumping my 4-year-old Natural (space bar is beginning to go); despite the hefty price tag.

My friend had one of those and I used it for a week or so ... nice keyboards, feels like the one on thinkpads. But the bad part is that they are THIN. If you are used to typing on a regular keyboard, you'll take sometime to adjust ... best desktop keyboard is the IBM Model M
If you get one of those ultranav ones for <$30 or $35 buy it ... not worth at $99 IMO.

I have a black model M with trackpoint II, and I'm using a full-size IBM keyboard with trackpoint IV
While their trackpoints are great enough (with IV better than II), both lacks the middle trackpoint button for scrolling which is a great access

Apologies for being late on this one, but I've been using an UltraNav at work for over a year now. Very nice keyboard, but I have one complaint:
The finish is terrible. Half the finish on my space bar has worn off almost completely. My home row keys (particularly the ones under my fingers) are shiny from losing their finish. (oddly enough the letters are still there even though the finish is gone).
Unfortunately the loss of finish leads to another problem - the keys now stick to my fingers. I haven't found a solution to this yet. Tried cleaning with Isopropanol, Ethanol, Methanol, and varied combinations of each with water. Nothing solves the stickiness problem.
Otherwise a very nice product. Bought it to replace my trackpoint M2, which my coworkers have forbidden me from using due to how loud it is when typing...
Edit: FWIW, the bottom of my ultranav keyboard says "Used Under License" "Made for Lenovo". The top of the keyboard still has the IBM logo on it.
