 Post subject: WATER FELL ON MY IBM T30 KEYPAD, HALF A GLASS

MY LITTLE DAUGHTER POUR HALF A GLASS OF WATER ON THE KEYPAD OF MY IBM THNKPAD T3O. ITS WENT OFF, I DRIED WELL.....BUT ITS DEAD WEHN I TRY TO BOOT FROM THE BATTERY
ONLY FAN IS WORKING FROM THE MAIN ADAPTER....ALL THE LIGHTS BLINK AT ONCE AND ONLY ONLY ONE LIGHT STAYS...
PLEASE HELP

Sorry to hear about your mishap.
There's nothing anybody here can do.
You will definitely need a new motherboard, and possibly a new keyboard as well.
Other parts such as CD-drive may also have been damaged.
The T30 being so old, it's not worth it to repair.
Look for a used more modern machine, such as an IBM T60, and keep your daughter away from it.

You being in Ireland, you may want to check the computer section of http://www.adverts.ie.
