T30 S-Video to TV not clear

#1 Post by kitmcdowall » Sat Jan 28, 2012 12:41 pm

I need to show photos that are stored on my T30 on my TV. The S-video cable works but the TV screen is not crisp. I know that the TV can show this type of photo, because my camera, connected to the video RCA port of the TV shows the same resolution pictures perfectly. I have tried everything I can find on the internet to get the T30 S-video to be clear but nothing works. Note that my TV is not HD. Can you help me?

I don't know exactly how the t30 works, but usually you can choose from the control panel between S-video and Video composite (aka CVBS).

If your TV is S-video capable you must be sure that the correct kind of signal is selected (CvBS is crap and is meant to be compatible with very old TV and VTRs)

T30 is about 10 years old. Find a matching 10 years old television.
Newer widescreen tellies don't play nice with S-Video.
