I only ever saw this on a T30. It worked after a fashion, but came and went in a flash because T4x's came out with Hard Drive Protection.

I have the shock on mine, it is amusing to push on it real fast and let the air out sometimes. I am always tempted to pull it off.

Now that would be some serious :shock: protection. There is a page or two in the HMM about removal and installation of the thing.

What about the system that the Mars Rover used when it landed; Airbags deployed in a closed geometric shape around the Thinkpad when it senses a sudden drop. :lol:
