Left click sensitivity

#1 Post by burns334 » Thu Aug 02, 2012 10:46 am

Morning all, my left click has lost some sensitivity, sometimes I have to double or triple click to get it to respond, I was thinking about removing the key and cleaning and reseating, any thoughts? or is it replacement keyboard time?

TIA

If by left click you mean the button between the touchpad and your chest, and if you want to replace it, you would have to get a new palm rest. The button mechanism is somewhat frail.

Actually you don't need to replace the palmrest, the entire touchpad can be removed and replaced, buttons included. I've transferred many from cracked palmrests and would be glad to send you one if needed.

If it's the upper button, that is part of the keyboard, I have them too, send me a PM if interested.

If however both buttons act this way, then it's a software issue, either a setting or other driver problem.
