Mini PCI-E SSD in T60?

#1 Post by HenryJia » Fri Dec 20, 2013 9:40 am

Hi guys, I'm thinking of putting a Mini PCI-E SSD in my T60 as there are 2 PCI-E slots in it. I've read that it probably won't work cos Lenovo/IBM whitelists these things. Would it work I if flashed the BIOS with a whitelist-free BIOS?
Lenovo/IBM Thinkpad T60-2007B-12
Intel Centrino/Core Duo T2400 1.83GHz Dual Core

ATI Mobility Radeon X1400 128MB Core 465.75MHz Memory 378MHz
Hard Drive 80GB 5400RPM
RAM 1.5GB DDR2

No it won't work, with or without modded BIOS.

No support on the motherboard and there's nothing you can do about it.
