I have a 128GB Samsung 830 SSD that I`ll install soon. I think the Hardware Test score will be a little better with a SSD, I`ll run Novabench again and post the results.

I replaced my WD250GB 5400rpm drive with a 128GB Samsung 830 SSD and the score got worse not better! How can this be? The SSD boots Windows 7 up Eset NOD32,WiFi and all in nine seconds and Photoshop CS6 opens so fast your unable to read anything on the splash screen. The WD250 booted Windows on average in 50 seconds and on Photoshop CS6 splash screen I could read all of it including the names of every Adobe employee that is credited. :??:

Both benchmarks are posted below. Anybody know what is wrong with this picture? :?:

There are lies, big lies and benchmark results...
All the above figures show an arbitrary value on an arbitrary scale that has little or no value.
What a waste of time!

The benchmark software take both drive performance, and capacity into account. So it is somewhat subjective.

Its not the best in the world, but it does give a generalized result.
