how to replace broken latch on X41 Tablet?

#1 Post by mtbiac » Fri Jun 20, 2008 9:24 pm

I just purchased a used X41 tablet but it has the screen latch broken off. Any ideas on how I can go about replacing this? Hope I dont have to replace the whole screen assembly!

oh and also, where can I purchase a new Pen digitizer thing for it? I cant find the one it came with :-/

thanks!

Hi, I have a broken top latch on an IBM Thinkpad x4 (I believe). It has the one switch on the top and you can turn the tablet's monitor backwards. Is the latch easy to replace?
