X40 delivery times

I ordered two X40's (2386-5FU) last week, and the shipping is scheduled by 8/23. Any experience on X40 orders lately, do they actually ship earlier than quoted like some T42's?

I ordered on 7/9 with est ship date of 8/3 but got it on the 26th. Ordered ground but it came express. 5FU as well.

I ordered on 29 June; it was to ship on 28 July. I got it in a week or so.

OK, my shipping estimate still shows 8/21, but I just got an email from IBM telling the X40's have been shipped

I ordered mine from CDW and got it in 2 days (1.2 GHz, bluetooth, IBM b/g card, 40 gig drive, 1 gig memory, 8 cell + wedge battery).
