X40 Combo Drive Problem

#1 Post by pphilipko » Thu Aug 19, 2004 12:16 am

I'm having some trouble with the X40 Model 2371-AV0. When I connect the ultrabase and try to use the combo drive, it states that I have an I/O address error. The drivers are alright and everything seems fine except for that error. I already have tried reinstalling the OS two times with no avail. Is this a hardware or software error? Any help would be appreciated!

If possible, test your drive in another T4x notebook or X4 ultrabase. If that's not possible, call IBM and they will send you a new drive via overnight.
