What is IBM's bad pixel policy?

#1 Post by tbessie » Tue May 25, 2004 2:21 pm

My new X40 has a grey pixel (it actually looks like 2 or 3 grouped together) near the center, bottom, of the screen. It's either dead or bad in some other way, but looks like a speck of dust that's always there.

I don't really want to return it after waiting for it and setting it up, but it is just SO annoying!

Anyone know what their bad-pixel policy is?

I'd think manufacturing would be good enough for this not to happen anymore. *sigh*.

If you bought it from IBM, you can return it within 30 days with no questions asked.
