Hey everyone,

bought another used X60s the other day. Altough it must be one of the earlier X60s, its miracously in pristine condition.

The only thing I notice is a rattling noise, that comes from the mainboard whenever I use the trackpoint and am on battery.

Any idea, what is causing this? Is this something to be worried about?

All the best,
Martin

Check on the underside of the keyboard if any screw(s) is/are loose or missing around the trackpoint area.
Also, try another keyboard.

Cant be it, since it only happens when I am on battery.

Is it really loud...? Can you record it and let us hear about it...?

Cheers.
