hi all,

thanks for this topic. My X220 now runs under W7 and Mountain Lion.

I had an issue after 10.8.5 combo update. I reinstalled AppleACPIPlatform kext in S/L/E
but I couldn't boot without "-f" flag
until I moved every kexts from /E/Extension to S/L/E with KextUtility and rebuilt the kernel cache :
sudo kextcache -system-prelinked-kernel
sudo kextcache -system-caches

I installed EasyBCD but it couldn't boot OSX on the 3rd partition : mbr chain error or buggy old EFI boot.
My partitions are /NTFS/exFAT/HFS/free
I wiped out EasyBCD, rebuilt the W7 mbr bootloader and now Chameleon does the job.
But Chameleon Wizard can not write to the PBR of a mounted partition and gives no messages. result => boot0: error
I had to copy Cham binaries (/i386/boot*) to the install-disk, boot the install-disk, launch a Terminal, unmount /dev/disk0s3 and hit "dd if=boot1h of=/dev/disk0s3 bs=4096".
:thumbs-UP:

Greetings,

Please see this thread running OS X Mavericks 10.9 on the X220.

I have written a guide which I hope we can work on to provide a straight-forward resource for this.

re404 : this is what i have and is the latest version 1.39 with whitelist and pm patch (you dont need to patch AppleIntelCpuPowermanagement Kext anymore)

i suggest to remove the wifi card from your laptop then update the bios with this original lenovo bios : http://www.sendspace.com/file/zylphr

then after the reboot download this : http://www.sendspace.com/file/mmrz0f

unzip it somewhere and run FLASH.BAT

when its over shutdown the x220 and install your new wifi card (i have the dell from first post)

now you have it
Could you put your files for the pm patch files online again? I can not patch my dsdt of 1.39 version properly. If possible, could you share your dsdt file? Thx

hi , sendfile must have delete the files
you can d/l from here

the patched bios : http://www3.zippyshare.com/v/15189741/file.html
original : http://www3.zippyshare.com/v/44264893/file.html

edit 18/12 update new dsdt : http://www24.zippyshare.com/v/82117974/file.html

*notes :

Dsdt in Device (IGPU) has my monitor EDID inside (my screen in not the ips and i don't know if there is a different edid for ips screens , you can remove this info from dsdt if you want).

Rehabman's battery 1.50 kext now work

if you install the patched bios you have to patch only AppleRTC and install patched appleHDA for audio, FakeSMC,AppleIntelE1000e,Battery and VoodooPS2Controller kext from Rehabman.
bye
