Flash video choppy

#1 Post by krymson » Mon Oct 25, 2010 8:37 am

Is it me or is flash video a bit choppy?
Example: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5P7hXbzpk48

The video freezes every once in a while, although the audio stays smooth.
This doesn't happen to me with Front Row, which works perfectly. oddly enough.

On closer observation, usually if i startup successfully, flash video plays fine.

However if I come back from sleep, flash video is choppy.

In the DSDT thread it was mentioned that after sleep some people lose CPU SpeedStep, which means that you might be running on the lowest frequency after wake. That would explain choppy video.

Your TSC is out of sync after wakeup. Install the patched VoodooTSCsync kext I posted in another thread, it will fix your Flash issues.
