Lenovo 3000 V100 0763 Review

#1 Post by ryengineer » Fri Apr 13, 2007 8:16 pm

Check out what Michelle Thatcher at Cnet.com has to say about thisnotebook(Reviewed on 4/13/07). She will probably be adding a video soon.
"I've come a long, long way," she said, "and I will go as far,
With the man who takes me from my horse, and leads me to a bar."
The man who took her off her steed, and stood her to a beer,
Were a bleary-eyed Surveyor and a DRUNKEN ENGINEER.

Based on our $1,699 review unit, we'd say that the Lenovo 3000 V100 has kept pace with the times ...
At $1699, I can get a thinkpad!!

Hello,

This laptop seems very interesting, but the bad quality of the mouse buttons, and the lack of trackpoint are a very big problem IMO. And these points don't only appear in this review. You can read another one here :

Without these nitpicks, it would have been a very nice laptop. I love the design of this machine. A little bulky, I don't know why, but it reminds me the 701CS. :)

It will be available here in France at the end of May. I don't know if it is yet available in other countries. If so, can someone post his/her impression about this machine ?

Thx ! :)

It looks just OK open but is the lid color silver? and the battery sticking out the back looks silver also?

Definately, if the thing was around $499.00 it would be somthing to look into.
from the article wrote:The bottom line: If you can carry a little extra weight in an ultraportable, the Lenovo 3000 V100 is a well-appointed business laptop that offers solid performance for a competitive price.
Are they kidding me?
