I recently upgraded to Window Vista and find it to worst than Window XP. I want to restore my laptop to the original factory setting, but was unable to because I lost my recovery disk and the Lenovo Care button not longer work after I upgraded.

Could somebody please sent me a copy of their recovery disk, it they had this model, which is Lenovo 3000 N-100, Model 0768-DKU. I am willing to pay for the postage. Thanks so much

If you had the recovery disk and is willing to sent it to me please pm me or email me at szhang1234@gmail.com

The original installed Operastion System is windows XP home, and I can use the product key off the back of the laptop.

Thanks so much in advance.

P.S. If there a way to restore the laptop to original factory setting with out the Lenovo Care button or the recovery disk, pleasse let me know!

Lenovo advises on it's website about creating a set of recovery disks before upgrading/downgrading to any OS, if you didn't do it and if you don't find recovery disks from any generous member here then I'm afraid you would need to order them from lenovo for a fee.

If in case you didn't delete the hidden partition then you can restore it through the following two methods:

How to reenable the F11 function (Product Recovery Program).

Or if you've a floppy drive:

Rescue and Recovery - Recovery repair diskette.

Good Luck!
