Hello,
recently I got two Lenovo 3000N200. One is working, another one is broken (GPU issues). I would like to use spare parts from the broken one to improve performance of the working one. Are they by default compatible? What should I consider when thinking about hardware upgrade?
The first one (workign) has T2370, so Iw ould like to place faster CPU. Bluetooth and WLAN would be also an option to imrove.
Thanks in advance,
Andrey
P.S. can I get a description of the device using this "type", like with Thinkpads? my both laptops start with 0769, but then different letters at the end.

As long as both have the same size (15.4") you can swap any parts.
Specs here: https://support.lenovo.com/ie/en/solutions/migr-67706
At one time I had two of those as well (for free).
I couldn't even GIVE them away, so dropped them off at a Goodwill store.
2 years later they were still there...

thanks for the hint. I will play a bit with them, trying to merge the best of two into one.
I have to admit, I do not understand this negative reputation of this laptop. I had two of them at hand, one was more advanced, another one was a kind of "low-budget" version. OK, they are not as legendary as Thinkpads are, but these are still laptops with (sometimes) quite adequate hardware. Lenovo positioned them as "low-budget Thinkpads" that time, I think, for smaller business this was quite good choice.
Regards,
Andrey
