Potential buyer of X220 has few SSD and HDD questions?

I think about buying ThinkPad X220 NYD59BM. Please answer my questions :)
If I am not wrong, I can add mSATA SSD to use for the OS.
1) Do all x220 has this mSATA slot?
2) If not, how to check for availability?
3) Is this msata SSD easy ( or not quite difficult) to mount?
Please, provide any other thoughts, I am wondering about getting this one, or X1. I use x40 at home, and x301 for company PC.
I bought initially ultrabook ideapad u300s, but in 7 days the keyboard of two different machines malfunctioned, so I am getting a different machine, and need some advice and info

BUMP?

I would make this question shorter - does mSATA SSD goes into the PCI express slot, and do I need anything besides the SSD itself. Is it just a plug and play affair?

The mSATA drive goes into the mini PCIe slot.

Someone else did it not too long ago (http://forum.thinkpads.com/viewtopic.php?f=43&t=103263).

Cheers.

Three days before bumping is the proper netiquette at this forum.

Sorry, I have missed thin info. I had to get the machine yesterday, so I was in a hurry. The store could not deliver, though, so I am waiting for a different machine in a different store :(

My biggest concern is the availability of PCIe slot on the particular machine I am getting - as long as I can plug a mSATA SSD and see it in BIOS, I know what to do :) This is why I chose i5 machine (better compatibility with mSATA SSD), and x220 - it is Ubuntu 12.04 certified.
