hello! my laptop just arrived yesterday!
it is lighter than lenovo 3000 v100, and the 6 cell batterie gived me about 5 hours of autonomy working with brightness at full, and with a use about 2 hours and a half, using gnu/linux debian lennynhalf.
laptop works nice in vista, 4Gb of RAM I think is good for running vista, not 2Gb that offers lots of laptops.
also works fine on debian, in my blog there's a wide explanation of the installation (in spanish, use a translator if you want to know more).

thinkpad engineers, the new way to charge a second batterie is a nice idea, but is so rude! I think in next versions will search for a better solution, maybe a button that you push and appears the second charger.
I also bought a 12v car charger... 3g modem, car charger, fully connection anywhere anyplace!
the most important configuration hardware things are:
- at first time, using kernel 2.6.26-1 wireless won't work, you should install 2.6.27 kernel to have intel 5000AGN series (5100AGN & 5300AGN). So I think in a month more or less, it will be fully supported, a thing to see is if that supports monitor mode (the lenovo 3000 v100 wifi card, don't).
- fingerprint I think(pad) that will be supported, in my blog I also have a post about this, then the problem is the right working with nowadays authentification programs.
- sound works well, and it sounds harder that 3000 v100, that's really great!
- webcam also works with 2.6.26-1 kernel, only turned on with skype, mus't see if you could change the capture options.
- bluetooth works
- mediabuttons works very well! I think I will asign open a new console to thinkpad button... bluebutton, give me shell!
other things to see are:
- modem
- 3g card (seems be supported also in 2.6.27 kernel!), wich program use to configure and use that?
- media cards
- pcmcia express
- SATA port in mediabase
here I paste my lspci and lsusb
