Shipping/Delivery of X200

Hi Guys,
been waiting for the x200 for about nearly 2 years ever since I got my last x60. Now that it has been announced, I was wondering when the devices are going to be sold? keep checking the
www.lenovo.com but currently they only have the x61 and x300 online. Any news here on when?

me too , everyday waiting.
but there is one shop call costcentral in USA , u can make a order , i dont know is back order or waiting list.
if any brother is able to buy and collect this x200 , pls let us know...
hopefully with a preview picture for us.

I was just informed by my SA that he will be receiving the specs on the 4th August and delivery is expected as of the 20th August. I am talking about a Lenovo Disti in Germany.

So is that August 20th going to be the official retail release date of the X200?
It's just so confusing that there isn't any information on the IBM/Lenovo web page.
If not now when then? I can't see any sense in this policy.

It's said the new ThinkPad models will be available for order on August 5th. But probably with a long shipping time as always... always.
