I purchased my T420S from Ebay.com it has a 3years of warranty.but the warranty starts on the date manufactured on 08/16/2011 is there a way to adjust the warranty starts date ? the machine is still in box i ve never has turn onn the machine. or warranty starts on the first day of the machine starts ? if not how to adjust the start date ?

If the eBay seller is an authorized dealer, you can call Lenovo and they'll probably adjust the warranty to the date of the receipt/invoice. If not, you're probably stuck with whatever the warranty is now.

i called lenovo and they denied to adjust the warranty start date ...

As noted, you'll need a receipt from an authorized dealer/partner to reset the warranty start date.

no luck here, bought it off ebay and the seller is not lenovo dealer so i have to stick with it..
