Just by sheer luck, I had a non-working T42 on the shelf which has the same AMTEL chip with no SVP. Capston tape, hot air gun, 8 pins soldered and jobs a good-un!

A lucky coincedence, as this A30 is factory fresh!! XP going on it now.
