After turning-on my Thinkpad R61, it gives 4 beeps of 4 sets (4*4) and hangs on.
Even the screen remains blank.
But USB and Optical Drive comes up.
After googling I found it is an issue regarding Security Chip.
Is it the same ??
and
Can you please tell me how can I disable security chip (I even cant go inside BIOS as screen doesn't come up)..
Thanks in advance..

AFAIK the only solution is to replace the motherboard.
