#1 Post by jronald » Sun Jul 27, 2014 10:15 am

Would something like this work in the spare wireless slot on a Z60t?

The Z60t is really only a T43 in fancy dress!
I doubt very much that it would work, but at that price you could give it a whirl. 8)

I have the modded BIOS, and the physical connection appears to look the same.

It appears to be a definite maybe not

Mini-SATA (abbreviated as mSATA), which is distinct from the micro connector,[33] was announced by the Serial ATA International Organization on September 21, 2009.[41] Applications include netbooks, laptops and other devices that require a solid-state drive in a small footprint.

The connector is similar in appearance to a PCI Express Mini Card interface,[42] but is not electrically compatible; the data signals (TX±/RX± SATA, PETn0 PETp0 PERn0 PERp0 PCI Express) need a connection to the SATA host controller instead of the PCI Express host controller.
