Hi all,
A quick question for the Flexview experts here: I just did a trial swap of a 15" R50p 1832-AU1 UXGA 1600x1200 Flexview screen onto an R52, originally XGA, with impunity, or so it seems. Works beautifully, seems to be no ill consequences. I have another R52 base, 1847-92U, also XGA originally, which I want to place the R50P screen on permanently. I'm swapping the entire R50p UXGA LCD assembly, with its original VGA cable and inverter as one unit. Do you think there will be any consequences with such a swap? Will the system board support it or could it cause the inverter, VGA cable or backlight to fail? And will I have full Flexview functionality?
Thanks in advance, Daniel.
