Bitlocker PIN not recognized

#1 Post by keylimesoda » Thu Sep 22, 2011 12:55 pm

Using an X220.

Just downloaded Windows 8 and decided it was time to move my whole machine to using UEFI. So I reinstalled my Windows 7 on my main partition, and installed Windows 8 on my 2nd partition (using a VHD). After that, I setup my bitlocker on my primary partition (Win7 partition), using TPM and PIN.

Now, when I try to boot into my Windows 7, it tells me my PIN is invalid. Is this another UEFI issue with the X220? Is it broken when using the Windows 8 UEFI bootloader?

Why dual boot a preview OS? Try it in Virtual Box. It works.
